I am a children's book author illustrator and creator of Meant for a Moment Designs and No Sleep Lots of Love.
I work from my home studio in Crownsville, MD. My office assistants include one overly excited dog, two equally excitable little girls, and three cups of forgotten-about, room-temperature coffee.
I enjoy creating across all kidlit genres: board books, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, and middle grade. I am drawn to stories with humor and heart. I am particularly fond of illustrating unicorns, dragons, and ghosts.

My current works in-progress include picture books (lots of them about unicorns), chapter books, graphic novels (early and middle grade), and a dystopian middle-grade novel. I am passionate about body positivity, female empowerment, and cultivating a belonging culture vs. a fitting-in culture.
When not illustrating, I can be found being so uncool it's almost cool, with my daughters and husband, consuming podcasts and audiobooks by the boatload, or jogging.
I can rarely be found sleeping, and I am okay with that.​
My illustrations have been described as whimsical, playful, and quirky.
